Academy Organisation

Times of the day:

• Breakfast club in the Breakfast Room and Simmond's Hall.  7:30am – 8:30am
• Doors open at 8:30am 
• Register closes at 8:50am
• Daily Reflection takes place each day in classes.
• KS1 have a 15 minute morning and 15 minute afternoon playtime.  They also have a play session during their lunch time. 
• KS2 have a 15 minute morning playtime and a play session during their lunch time. 
• Lunch begins at:
  • 12:10pm for Foundation Stage and ends at 1:00pm. This may vary initially until Reception have settled into school.
  • 12:10pm for KS1 and ends at 1:00pm
  • 12:30pm for KS2 and ends at 1:20pm

Lunchtime supervisors are instrumental in maintaining a positive environment at lunchtime. They will lead play and engage with children where possible. All our staff looking after children are staff working within the academy in other roles.

School ends at 3:10pm for all year groups. 

Average total time per week. 32.5 hours.
